A Recovery Guide is a volunteer who uses strength-based support to promote recovery by removing barriers and building recovery capital.

Basically, Recovery Guides are people who want to help others find and maintain recovery from mental health and/or addiction issues.  Recovery Guides share their knowledge experience, strength, and hope to help people use their own strengths and find their pathway to recovery.

Who can be a Recovery Guide?

Volunteer Recovery Guides are individuals or family members/loved ones who have been impacted by mental health and/or addiction issues.  Recovery Guides are individuals who have sustained recovery from themselves and/or their family.  For more information about becoming a Recovery Guide, click here.

who can benefit from a Recovery Guide?
